Ms. Vera Lipton serves as a Director with NCL Corporate Services, since October 2015.
She is an experienced international consultant, facilitator and an intellectual property (IP) counsel with a diverse background in multi-million project initiation and management, communications, quality assurance and human resource management. Her career spans over 15 years and across several continents — Europe, Australia, the Middle East and Asia.
Most recently, she was the founding Manager of the National Patent Analytics Hub at IP Australia, a unit that achieved excellence in helping innovators and policy makers to harness the value of IP information. Prior to establishing the hub, she worked in the public and private sectors in senior business development, technology policy and commercialisation roles.
A Certified Licensing Professional, a Certified Patent Valuation Analyst, mediator of disputes, and a trade marks attorney, Ms. Lipton is well versed with the capabilities for structuring, negotiating and tracking of IP and R&D transactions globally. In this capacity she works closely with NCL Tax and Asset Management Teams.
Vera has master’s degrees in IP law from the University of Technology (Sydney) and in International Relations (with Honors) from the Australian National University. She is completing her PhD in Law at the Australian Catholic University.
