Mr. Nicos Clerides is the Chairman of NCL Corporate Services and leads the Global Asset Management Group. With over 35 years’ experience, Mr. Clerides has helped countless clients optimise international business operations, manage risks, and assert their rights in international litigation.
As a strategist of global asset management, he is known for applying practical and effective solutions. Mr. Clerides possesses deep experience and exceptional insights into the design, establishment, and rollout of international business structures. His clients include multinationals, niche companies, small enterprises, families and individual investors.
As a litigation lawyer, Mr. Clerides enjoys a long track record of success in cross-border commercial and criminal litigation. He is the Managing Partner of Lefcos Clerides and Sons – one of the oldest and most prestigious law offices in Cyprus with international clientele. Many of the cases handled by Mr. Clerides set international precedents and were extensively covered in the press.
Mr. Clerides studied law at Middle Temple Inn in London and was called to the English Bar in 1977. He is the co-author of Commercial Laws of the World by Oceana Publications (1985). Mr. Clerides has held many professional and honorary appointments. Most recently, he served as a member of the National Council – an advisory body to the President of the Republic of Cyprus.
Besides wealth management and law, his interests are poetry, philosophy, visual arts and literature. Mr. Clerides is committed to advancing democratic values and human rights for all men and women.
